How is it August already? The school holidays disappeared in a whirlwind of ice creams, sibling squabbles, and bedtime negotiations. Now it's all uniform shopping and "Wait, did we even have summer?" panic.
This is one of my favourite photos.. It's not the sharp, detailed kind you might see in textbooks, but a beautiful bumble bee blur, wings smeared with motion, hovering somewhere between accident and art.
